The Chamber to Chamber program is designed to provide

Baton Rouge Area Chamber members and members of other

regional chambers of commerce a great opportunity to meet

in a casual setting to showcase the parish and build business

relationships with each other. This event will begin with a

"walking tour" of New Roads' downtown shops. The group will

begin the tour at The Pointe Coupee Gallery, 329 New Roads

Street, and then proceed to Purter's Boutique, Roy's Jewelry,

Still Waters, Merle Norman, Nelda's Place, and end at the Ford

Room in Satterfield's Restaurant. A map of the walking tour

Local merchants will be staying open later than usual to

accommodate this event. Yellow ribbons will indicate the

businesses participating in the event. Special guest LT. General

Russel L. Honoré, US Army (Ret), Pointe Coupee's hometown

resident, will be present for a book signing.
